Open Water Weekender

Take your canoe skills to the next level with our Open Water Weekender. This weekend program, led by our experienced guides, will provide you with top-notch coaching in open water conditions. With force 3/4 winds on the open water, you’ll learn skills and techniques to navigate this challenging environment. Don’t miss this opportunity to take your paddling skills to the next level and enjoy a fun weekend on the water with Peaks Paddles Pedals.

We will meet in Kingussie's Ardvonnie Car Park and aim to with-in an hours journey, weather dependant. There are some cafes in Kingussie which open early if you need something before we go.

The aim will be to get back to Kingussie by 3:30pm to have a debrief.

Packing List: Please contact us if you wish to hire or borrow anything

• Canoe
• Poles
• Paddles
• Sail
• Swim lines and extra Painters
• Personal Paddling Equipment including Bouancy Aid and Helmet
• Clothing appropriate to the weather (Minimum of base layer and warm mid layer, please avoid cotton and denim)
• A spare warm layer
• Lunch, snacks and water
• Suncream
• Shoes you don’t mind getting wet
• Dry clothes you can change into at the end if you need to.
